‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ Movie Review
This rom-com of director Sameer Vidwans, who has directed ‘Satyprem Ki Katha’, moves forward with its tried and tested tips. The first half of the film is quite slow. The director spends a lot of time in the bickering and love between the hero and the heroine. Although the dazzling locales of Croatia are soothing to the eyes and it gives the feel of a cruise trip, there is nothing special in the story.
The second half picks up pace when all the characters gather at one place, but the director’s subplots also seem quite familiar and convenient. Even if it is a case like the hero coming to the heroine’s wedding house to impress the family and the heroine. Then the climax ends with a strong message and feelgood.
Talking about music, ‘Dil Musafir’ and title track have become good in Vishal Shekhar’s music. The beauty of Croatia and India comes out brightly in Anil Mehta’s cinematography. Had Manan Mehta’s editing been a little more tight, it would have been fun.
Talking about acting, Kartik Aryan has filled the role of Ray in this rom-com with all the colors which is full of romance, comedy and emotion. His familiar charm makes the character relatable. Ananya has been maturing film after film. He has played the role of Rumi effectively. The chemistry of both blooms on screen.
Neena Gupta is brilliant as always in the role of the bubbly and vivacious mother, while Jackie Shroff brings emotional depth to his character in the film. His years of experience are reflected in his acting. The supporting cast maintains the mood of the story.
Why watch- If you are fond of romantic comedy in the atmosphere of Christmas and New Year celebrations, then you can watch this film.
