Tere Ishk Mein Movie Review: Kriti Sanon and Dhanush starrer film ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ has been released today. There was a lot of buzz about this film for a long time. what is the story
The story is about a boy Shankar (Dhanush) who usually gets very angry and raising his hand is a common thing for him. But then a girl Mukti (Kriti Sanon) comes into his life whom he falls in love with at first sight. Mukti has to pass her thesis and get a doctorate degree and for that she needs an angry man like Shankar. Shankar agrees and in this affair he gives his heart to Mukti. Mukti calls Shankar to her home, introduces him to her father and his father gives him the condition of passing the prelims for the IAS exam.
The surprising thing happens when he clears the prelims. But by then the story has changed. Mukti has fallen in love with someone else. She has already announced to marry someone else. Knowing this, Shankar becomes enraged and sets Mukti’s house on fire. Now to know what turn the story takes next, you will have to watch this film in the theatre.
how is the movie
Dhanush and Kriti were seen together for the first time in the film and their pairing in the film looked better than expected. Kriti is gradually becoming an actress whose pairing looks good with everyone. The first half of the film seems quite similar to Raanjhanaa, but in the second half the story takes a lot of twists and from here the story becomes quite different from Raanjhanaa.
The screenplay, emotions and songs of the film are quite good but the story of the film could have been better. Many illogical things have been included in the film, many illogical concepts have been kept. Which is far beyond understanding. If work had been done on the story of the film, this film could have become a masterpiece. The first part of the film is quite good but the story of the second part could have been better.
how is the acting
All the actors have done a wonderful job in this film. Dhanush has looked excellent in his role and Kriti has also done justice to her character. The rest of the characters have also done excellent roles. Prakash Raj, who played the role of Dhanush’s father, has also done a good job. But when Zeeshan Ayub enters this film, the memories of Raanjhanaa become fresh once again.

‘Tere Ishq Mein’ had the potential to be a great film, if justice was done to its story. This film is a one time watch and you will be forced to wonder whether such love really exists. Is there true love even in today’s times and if it is called love then it is not that easy to love. The acting of all the actors is amazing and the only thing missing in the entire film is a good story. This film gets 3 stars from Filmibeat Hindi.
