The story of this film is how people’s life is these days in metro cities. This film depicts a couple in which the husband wants to become a singer but is not able to get a break. It is the story of a woman who had big dreams before marriage but after marriage, she devotes herself to her family and forgets her dreams. This is the story of a middle age couple, who have a daughter who has turned 15 years old and now there is nothing left to talk between the couple and the husband looks for support outside to overcome the boredom. The story of a young couple is also shown in which the girl is already engaged with the boy who is settled and earns well but still she is confused about her fiance.
You must have felt a little confused after reading so many stories above. It might be a little confusing, but believe me, this confusion is the beauty of this film. Anurag Basu has shown the Panchnama of love very beautifully and seriously in the chaos of today’s fast-paced life.

Even in this film of 2 hours 42 minutes, there is hardly any moment when the speed of the metro is reduced these days. Comedy, drama, stress – Metro These Days has portrayed everything very well. The first part is brilliant, which makes you laugh, make you think and also make you cry. The action reduces a bit in the second part, but this does not have any significant impact on the story. Anurag has beautifully included the themes of modern romance like infidelity, confusion, fear of commitment, mid-life crisis, love ending, feminism and many more in this film.

Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher have acted brilliantly in the film. Konkona Sensharma and Pankaj Tripathi will win your hearts with their excellent comic timing. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal also look fabulous. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have also done a good job or rather Anurag Basu has got them to do a good job. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the Sara we knew from Kedarnath is finally back.
