Kantara Chapter 1 Movie Review: When ‘Kantara’ was released in the year 2022, people did not have much expectations from this film, but Rishabh Shetty’s amazing acting showed such magic that people were drawn to the theatres. what is the story
The story of Kantara is about a forest named Kantara where some tribal people live and they worship their god but the king living nearby is very cruel and to establish his authority he goes to the forest of Kantara and starts killing the people there and then the God’s followers come there and kill that king and the people of Kantara start living there happily for once.
The son of the king who is killed sees his father’s death before his own eyes and decides that he will never go to Kantara. Two children are born to the king – a boy and a girl. The boy later becomes a king (Gulshan Devaiah) and he is always drunk. One day he decides to go to Kantara but he has to return back and some people of Kantara decide to come to the king’s circle and do business. This thing irritates the king and then the king takes his army and goes to Kantara and starts looting and then the anger of the gods begins. Will the king be punished for his actions? To know how the gods will save their people, you will have to watch the film in theaters.
how is the movie
The film visualization is very good, the first half of the film will seem excessively stretched and you will not know what they are trying to show in the film. There will be many questions in your mind during the interval and the second half of the film will answer those questions. Yes, the second half is the life of this film. The climax scene of ‘Kantara’ had given people goosebumps, but there will be many such scenes in this film which will not only give you goosebumps but will also force you to fold your hands in front of the deity.
You will feel a different energy after watching the film, you will feel a feel good emotion inside you.
how is the acting
Rishabh Shetty is the hero of this film and you will feel this again and again. Rishabh Shetty’s character has been shown in such a strong manner in this film that you will find all the others in comparison to him to be like water. Gulshan Devaiah has also played his role very well but his character could have been given a little more depth. Rukmini Vasant, who plays the role of Kanakvati, has also played her role with great sincerity and honesty and in the second half you will see her role gaining more strength.

This film can be called a masterpiece. While only one climax in Kantara had blown away people’s senses, the second half of this film itself is enough to blow people’s senses. If the first half of the film had been made a little exciting then this film deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. This film gets 4 stars from Filmibeat Hindi.
