what is the story
The story is of a village in Bikaner where a businessman Haribhai Khaitan (Gajraj Rao) wants to build his dream project – Bikaner to Boston. For this project, he needs the land of the farmers there but the farmers there do not want to give him their land. But by meeting Bikaner DM, MLA and local people, he deceives the farmers and gets their lands transferred to his name illegally. Meanwhile, so much pressure is put on a farmer that he is forced to commit suicide. His wife Janaki (Seema Biswas) goes to jolly LLB 1 (Arshad Warsi) to seek justice. Then she goes to Jolly LLB 2 (Akshay Kumar) but is disappointed from both sides. But as soon as both of them come to know about Janaki’s story, both of them get ready to fight her case.
Now the war begins – between wealth and poverty, the war begins – between businessman and farmer. Now to know who wins between these two and who has to lose what in this fight, you will have to watch this film in the theatre.
how is the movie
First of all let’s talk about the first half of the film. The first half of the film is quite fun. The bickering between Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in the first half was quite good. You are going to enjoy watching their tu-tu-main-main. Saurabh Shukla’s role in the first half has also been quite interesting. But the courtroom drama will seem a bit missing in the first half.
The emotional aspect of the film comes to the fore in the second half, when both the jolly farmers stand together for the cause. An attempt has been made to show the pathetic condition of farmers in the second half of the film. There is courtroom drama in the second half but there is less action compared to Jolly LLB 1 and Jolly LLB 2. If we talk about who among the two Jolly has been given more importance, then Akshay has been seen overshadowing Arshad in many scenes. However, Akshay’s role is bigger than Arshad’s. In this film, both actresses Amrita Rao and Huma Qureshi have been shown important roles but they have not been given much screen presence.
how is the acting
All the actors have done amazing work in this film. But the real heroes of this film are Akshay Kumar and Saurabh Shukla. Whenever these two have been on camera, they have looked excellent. His comic timing is so amazing that you will not be able to stop smiling. Arshad Warsi also did his job well but his role was shown to be a bit serious as compared to the mood of the film. Because of which his role seems a bit dull. Seema Biswas has not been given many dialogues in the film but she is such a good artist that her expressions are no less than any dialogue. Gajraj Rao has been given the role of villain in the film, but he has not been able to leave a good impression in the role of villain. It is not that he did not do a good job, but the role of the villain did not suit his personality much. Ram Kapoor has played Gajraj’s lawyer in the film, whose screen presence has been very good and he has stood firmly in front of Akshay Kumar.
how is the movie
‘Jolly LLB 3’ is a family entertaining film. You will get to see courtroom drama in this film. You will get to see the jugalbandhi of Arshad and Akshay and also you will get to see the excellent humor of Saurabh Shukla. This film has every spice which definitely makes the film a one time watch. This film gets – 3.5 stars from Filmibeat Hindi.
