Baaghi 4 Movie Review: Tiger Shroff, Harnaaz Sandhu starrer film Baaghi 4 has been released in theaters today. This film is the fourth film of Baaghi franchise and Harnaaz Sandhu has made his Bollywood debut with this film. But whether you should watch this film or skip it, let us find out in this review.
What is the story?
The story of this film is of an officer Ronnie who meets with an accident and goes into a coma. When he wakes up from the coma, he repeatedly takes the name of a girl – Alisha. But he comes to know that in reality there is no girl named Alisha. But Alisha’s image is clear in Ronnie’s memories, he remembers all the moments spent with Alisha. But in real life there is no girl named Alisha.
Ronnie searches for Alisha everywhere but he cannot find her anywhere. He tries to contact people associated with Alisha but everyone proves him to be a liar. Ronnie’s brother explains to him that he is just hallucinating because he hit his head. There is no Alisha in real life. But then Ronnie’s brother (Shreyas Talpade) is murdered and through that murder Ronnie comes to know that Alisha is real and someone has kept her hidden.
Now, to know how he will be able to meet his Alisha and for what purpose Alisha has been hidden, you will have to watch the film.
how is the movie
The first half of the film will seem a bit unique to you. Tiger has played the character of Ronnie and you will also find yourself a little troubled by the way Ronnie is worried about his identity. There is a lot of confusion in the first half as to what is true and what is false. Who to trust, who not to trust… but this suspense is the life of this film.
Sanjay Dutt enters the film in the second half and he is playing an amazing villain. Although he looks a little tired on the screen. Harnaaz Sandhu’s character has been shown quite well but maturity is not yet visible in his dialogue delivery.
Some things have been shown quite strange in the film, like the chemistry developing very quickly between Harnaaz and Tiger. Sanjay Dutt’s threat to God. To force Alisha to become Avantika etc. Some parts of the film also seemed quite stretched, which could have worked even if it had not been added to the film.
how is the acting
Tiger Shroff has acted very well in this film or we can say that this can become his comeback film. Harnaaz was given a very good role in the film and she is also looking very beautiful but she could not do much justice to her role. Sanjay Dutt has looked excellent like every time. Saurabh Sachdeva is an amazing actor, his screen presence is very good. Sonam Bajwa has a small role in this film. Although, she has tried to bring life to her role but due to less screen space, she has not been able to show her magic.
final review
If you want a combination of romance and action then you can watch this film. This is an entertaining film. There are many characters in it, who will make you laugh on screen, like Upendra Limaye in the role of ASP. This film could have been better if the direction had been kept more careful… This film is a one time watch. This film gets 3 stars from Filmibeat Hindi.
